BUSINESS FOR SALE !
Model Yachting has been my life for over a Quarter Century. As I look forward to retirement in the year 2009 (or sooner), I want to guarantee that my products and designs are still available. Therefore, I have decided to offer my entire business to the correct individual under the following conditions:
  1. The potential acquirer must sign a non-disclosure agreement regarding the details of my business.
  2. The business to be sold will include the following:
    1. The rights to produce the VENOM 36/600 and the mold for the Hull.
    2. The rights to produce the VENOM US 1M and the mold for the Hull.
    3. The rights to produce the CELEBRATION IOM and the mold for the Hull.
    4. The rights to produce the CHINOOK IOM and the mold for the Hull.
    5. The rights to produce the VIPER and VIPER+ Marblehead and the mold for the Hull.
    6. The rights to produce the VIPER 10 Rater and the mold for the Hull.
    7. The rights to produce the COHO 10 Rater and the mold for the Hull.
    8. The rights to produce the ORCA 3D "A" Class and the mold for the Hull.
    9. The rights to produce the ADVANTAGE "AC" Class and the mold for the Hull.
    10. The rights to produce the ADVANTAGE II "AC Class and the mold for the Hull.
    11. The mold to produce the semi-scale Deck for the above "AC" Class yachts.
    12. The mold to produce the cambered Deck as used on the IOM Class yachts.
    13. The mold to produce the Fin for the US 1M and 36/600 Class yachts.
    14. The mold to produce the Fin for the Marblehead and IOM Class yachts.
    15. The mold to produce the Fin for the 10 Rater Class yachts.
    16. The mold to produce the Fin for the "A" and "AC" Class yachts.
    17. The mold to produce the Rudders for the "A" and "AC" Class.
    18. The mold to produce the Rudders for all other yachts listed above.
    19. The vacuum pump used for producing Fins and Rudders, and associated materials.
    20. The casting patterns used for producing the Lead ballasts for all yachts listed above.
    21. The mandrels and design data used to produce the Carbon Masts which I sell.
    22. The inventory of Masts such as exists at the time of sale.
    23. The inventory of Sailcloth such as exists at the time of sale.
    24. The rights to produce and the master tapes for my Rig Tuning and Instructional Videos.
    25. Training in how to produce Hulls, Fins, Sails, etc. to the same quality as I make now.
    26. One year of online consulting to aid in the transition and production process.
  3. The price to be negotiated, but based on the previous five (5) years Gross Sales.
  4. A non-compete agreement (I won’t compete with you) for all Model Yachting products, excluding future books or other publications, and not transferable to a subsequent purchaser.
